Many of Shoptreo’s target users are informal fashion retailers with limited digital literacy. Most are not tech-savvy and rely on basic mobile interactions for their business needs. This posed a challenge in designing a product that would not only be functional but also intuitive and inclusive. The goal was to create a seamless experience that minimized confusion, reduced learning curves, and encouraged daily usage without overwhelming users.

To address this, we simplified navigation, used familiar UI patterns, and added contextual cues across the app. The redesign introduced larger touch targets, clear call-to-actions, and visual hierarchies tailored for quick understanding. As a result, more merchants could easily onboard, browse products, and access retail credit without assistance. The inclusive design boosted feature adoption, reduced drop-offs, and made Shoptreo’s services more accessible to its core audience.
